Saturday 18th June
Stress less
weLLBEING WORKSHOP
Are you dreaming of a soul soothing Saturday just for you? If so, I have the perfect line up for you.
Carve out some time to rest and recharge and join Lorna for a wellbeing workshop at the beautiful ‘Upstairs at Six’ studio in Hove. Just a stones throw from the sea!
This wellbeing workshop will focus on rest & relaxation whilst learning ways to reduce & manage stress and support positive mental health.
£35 pp
Yoga - We’ll stretch to release tension from the body, particularly focusing on the shoulders and upper back where we tend to hold most of our stress. We’ll move to increase serotonin, the happy hormone, to elevate the mood.
Breathwork - Together we’ll breathe fully and expansively to activate our parasympathetic ‘soothing’ system and bring fresh oxygen to our organs to enhance optimal functionality and wellbeing.
Mindfulness - You’ll be guided through exercises which encourage you to ‘be fully present in this moment’. Mindfulness is a scientifically proven technique that helps to calm a busy mind and reduce anxiety.
Resources - You will learn practical tools & techniques to understand your stress signature and reduce anxiety and overwhelm through helpful coping mechanisms. Handouts will be provided to take away and support you in everyday life.
Escape This is an afternoon just for you to relax, reconnect with yourself and step away from the daily stresses of everyday life. With the sea just minutes away, this is the perfect opportunity to leave your troubles at the door and reset your body, mind and soul.
